Waltzforanight was the first to see this, in its original F/K/V form, which wasn't working for me. J_S_Cavalcante helped me tear this story down and rebuild it as a more solid F/K story, helping me in ways that I can't even describe. She also helped reassure me that it didn't suck, which is apparently part of the job description. All while juggling her own myriad commitments, all on a deadline. Notes 1:  Consider this an Alternate Reality, where Stella became a detective and RayK became an attorney.  The other major change is I've inverted the order of "Juliet is Bleeding" and "Victoria's Secret" in this 'verse's chronology.
Notes 2:  Linden requested something that looked at gender and RayK and Stella, possibly doing a gender flip. I thought there might be something interesting to flipping their professions instead.  I hope this touched on at least a little of what you wanted to see! :)
