Title: Don't Tell
For: Exeterlinden
Pairing: RayK/Stella
Vidder's Notes: My undying gratitude to both of my betas. Do not attempt to adjust your player.  Ray's twitchy, and so is this vid.
Summary: Ray signed the divorce papers for Stella, but that doesn't mean he stopped loving her.

That's absolutely lovely!

Thank you, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I really loved this.

I love Stella so much, and I love seeing them both trying to deal with the fact that the love is still there...

This really worked for me.

Thanks.

Thanks aka! That scene where she's about to touch his cheek, and when he looks up she pulls away, just HURTS.

Oh, oh...LOVE this vid. *cries for Ray*

Fabulous choice of song, fabulous choice of scenes, and I love how you set them to the music. I am not a vidder, obviously, and can't comment knowledgeably on the technical aspects, but as a viewer I can say they really worked for me.

I love Fraser's supportive presence in the background of so many of these scenes.

The dancing scenes are terrific, and Ray's defending Stella, standing between her and danger, is made so clear here. It's not only love, it's so much more.

Great vid!

Thanks JS!

Interesting thing about "Fraser's supportive presence" - it wasn't intentional. It's incredibly difficult to get a clip of Ray without Fraser in it. It's easy to find Fraser standing alone. Which makes me thinky.

I was really pleased with the way the dancing scenes fit the string sections of the song. And Ray's defense of Stella seems one of the key definitions of their relationship. ANd of the way he defines himself.

Oh man, thank you so much for this. It's really, really cool, and I'm going to be watching it a bunch of times, but here's my initial reaction after the first couple (or five or six *g*) times watching it:

I love the rhythm and pace of it. Very sharp, and yes twitchy, I like that.

Poor, poor Ray who just. Can't. Stop. Very well done - heartbreaking without being too angsty, I like that so much.

Orsini being everything Ray's not. Awesome detail.

Leaving a part of Ray standing there at her closed door in the last shot. Such a precise image of their relationship.

In conclusion: Love's tough. This video rocks. I am one mightily happy recipient. Thank you :D

Wow, that's really nifty. Such a precise emotional picture of Ray, and yeah, the twitchy's perfect. Yum!

OH. This was so good and so RAY and the construction of the vid was AWESOME. Very very good, and great song choice!

This is lovely - I like the jerkiness and the contrast between what Ray wants their relationship to be (romance and dancing) and what it is (him left alone). Very nicely done.

Heeh! I feel very priviliged to have my own personal appointed seekrit writing person *g*

Third time, eh? I'm certainly not complaining ;D

And I just read your entry about this vid at your journal, which was really interesting. You did a wonderful job with this - and the gift is much loved!

oh, RAY. this is heartbreaking but LOVELY, and I love the two of them SO MUCH even though fandom seems to think I shouldn't or something? I dunno. I adore those two. And this is gorgeously done.
